Riverview Clinics based in Gravesend and Gillingham specialises in treatment of a wide range of disorders using Osteopathy, Naturopathy, Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine or any combination of these therapies.
The clinic follows a holistic approach where all aspects of the problem will be given consideration and appropriate treatment including the effects of stress, posture, medication and ill health.
On initial presentation, or on change of presenting condition, a full patient history will be taken and examination performed and from this diagnosis derived. A treatment plan specific to the patient and the diagnosis will be determined. In consultation with the patient, and due to the multi disciplinary abilities within the clinic, the treatment plan may utilise the knowledge, techniques and equipment of any of the disciplines (Osteopathy, Naturopathy, Acupuncture, Chinese Medicine).
Where these will aid recovery and are acceptible to the patient, additional treatments such as electro-therapy: Ultrasound, electrical stimulation, interferential etc. are available to be included in the treatment plan; Laser treatment is also available.
The treatment can be as gentle, or robust, as the patient or condition dictates. You can be assured that no treatment will be performed without prior discussion and consent. Treatment can therefore be given to the frail, elderly, babies & children and anybody of a nervous disposition.
We are also experienced in interpreting X-Ray and MRI scan results.
